The Highlands
From Inverness to Chambon-sur-lignon.
Lunar landscapes, rounded mountains, Undergrowth, Willowherbs, lit darkness, pine forests, a sky covered with stars, unexpected storms. It is through this universe that Agathe Jacquillat wanted to combine her photographs of Haute-Loire with those of Paul-Emile Grisard who photographed the landscapes of Scotland at length. The attraction towards these serene, uninhabited and magical universes links their photographs. These two highlands, almost 2,000 km apart, come together for a multi-sensory and visual exhibition in the woods of the Vivarais-Lignon highlands. Highlands versus the Hauts-Plateaux, it’s up to you to discover their riches and subtle differences.
